Admission Procedure

Admissions at Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation School are open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, and are governed by principles of fairness, transparency, and merit. Our process is designed to ensure that each applicant receives personal attention and a smooth transition into our educational environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Pre-KG: Minimum age – 2½ years as on 31st July of the academic year.
LKG: Child must have completed 3 years as on 31st July.
UKG: Child must have completed 4 years as on 31st July.

The child must have completed 5 years as on 31st July.
For each higher class, one year is added accordingly.

Admission is subject to availability of seats.
Students must submit a *Transfer Certificate (T.C.)* from a recognized institution.
A short informal assessment/interview may be conducted to determine the student's academic level.
Admission Form

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

1.Filled-in Application Form (available at the school office)
2.Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Authority or Panchayat (mandatory for all KG & Class I admissions)
3.Aadhar Card of the student (copy)
4.Recent Passport Size Photograph of the student (2 copies)
5.Community Certificate (if applicable)
6.Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from previous school (for Class II and above)
7.Progress Report/Mark Statement of the previous academic year
8.Medical Fitness Certificate (if specifically requested)

Important Notes

* Admission is purely based on availability of seats and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
* Admission fees, once paid, are non-refundable under any circumstances.
* Incomplete applications or missing documents may lead to disqualification.
* The school reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reason.

Admission Process

Step 1: Enquiry & School Visit

* Parents can make an enquiry through a phone call or in person.
* A guided tour of the school campus is provided.

Step 2: Application Submission

* Collect and fill out the application form from the school office.
* Submit the form along with all required documents.

Step 3: Student Interaction

For Grades II and above, a simple assessment or interaction with the child may be scheduled to assess basic academic proficiency.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation & Fee Payment

* On approval, parents will receive an admission confirmation slip. * Admission fee and first term tuition fee must be paid within the given deadline.

Step 5: Orientation

* Parents will be invited to attend an orientation program that outlines the school’s policies, expectations, and academic calendar.
