Uniform Guidelines

At Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation School, the student uniform symbolizes unity, discipline, and pride in our institution. Each section of students has a distinct and comfortable uniform designed to suit their age and activity levels, fostering a sense of identity and belonging.

Kindergarten (Pre-KG, LKG, UKG)

The kindergarten uniform is bright and appealing, helping to create a cheerful atmosphere for young learners.

Boys

T-Shirt and Trousers in *Pink and Dark Blue* color combination, designed for comfort and freedom of movement during active play and learning.

Girls

T-Shirt and Trousers in *Pink and Dark Blue* color combination, designed for comfort and freedom of movement during active play and learning.

Primary Classes (I – V)

The primary uniform instills discipline and sets a tone of readiness for learning while maintaining child-friendly comfort.

Boys

Light Green Striped Shirt paired with Dark Green Trousers. The design is neat, formal, and age-appropriate.

Girls

Dark Green Pinafore with a Light Green Striped Shirt underneath. This uniform combines modesty, style, and school spirit.

High School (VI – X)

The high school uniform is tailored to reflect responsibility, identity, and a sense of professionalism among senior students.

Boys

Dark Green Full-Length Pants with a Light Green Striped Shirt. This attire reflects maturity and a transition to formal schooling.

Girls

Light Green Striped Kurta with a Dark Green Overcoat, offering a traditional yet practical outfit that ensures both elegance and comfort.


Special Uniform Days

Tuesdays and Fridays (All Students from Class I to IX):

Students must wear the Track Suit provided by the school.
These days are designated for physical education and sports activities, and the track suit ensures flexibility and ease of movement.


Wednesdays (Scouts Participants):

Students enrolled in the Scouts program are required to wear the official Scouts Uniform as approved by The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Tamil Nadu.


Thursdays (JRC Participants):

Students part of the Junior Red Cross (JRC) must wear the JRC Uniform on this day to participate in related activities and assemblies.

General Guidelines

* Students must wear neatly pressed uniforms and maintain personal hygiene
* ID cards and school shoes (as prescribed) must be worn daily.
* Hair should be kept tidy; *long hair should be braided* or tied up neatly (for girls).
* On special occasions, functions, or celebrations, students may be allowed to wear color dress upon prior instructions from the school.
